More than 10,000 applications have been filed for the Jubilee celebrations
The parties will take place all over the country from Saturday June to until Tuesday 5, with most of them happening on Sunday 3, the same day as the Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
6,500 roads will be closed to that people can commemorate the event.
More street parties and private parties that do not require applications will take place over the long weekend.
Among those is The Big Jubilee Lunch, an initiative promoted by the Duchess of Cornwall to get friends and neighbours to get together for the celebrations.
The Diamond Jubilee celebrates 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign.
