This year Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life was, as ever, full of amazing moments and emotion.
We want to send a massive Thank You and Congratulations to each and every woman who ran, jogged or walked 5k or 10k in a fantastic series of events across the country, raising money to beat cancer.
Race for Life is the UK's largest women-only fundraising event where all the money raised goes to funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
The 2010 Goal:
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life began in 1994, with one event raising £36,000. In 2010, the aim was to get over 700,000 women raising £60 million to help beat cancer.
What to do now:
Make sure, after all your hard work, that you get your sponsorship money in. It's vital that Cancer Research UK gets that cash so they can start making it work in the battle against cancer as soon as possible. Click here for all the details about sponsorship money.
