Assault On Train Into Milton Keynes
CCTV images released as investigation continues into assault on train arriving at Milton Keynes
British Transport Police (BTP) officers have released CCTV images as they continue to appeal for information following an incident on board a London Euston – Northampton service.
The train left London Euston at 11.24pm on Friday, 14 November and an assault took place on board the train as it arrived at Milton Keynes station around an hour later at 12.20am on Saturday, 15 November.
Investigating officer, PC Alex Trivino, said:
"The victim, a 41 year-old man, was travelling in a first class carriage on the train. Throughout the journey, a man and a woman were talking to various passengers within the carriage. As the train pulled into Milton Keynes, this man assaulted the victim, causing a cut underneath his left eye which required treatment at A&E."
