A teenage boy has suffered life threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Boughton, near Northampton.
It happened on the A508 Harborough Road, just north of the Boughton roundabout, at 5:45pm on Saturday evening (19 July).
The 16-year-old was in collision with a silver Seat Leon, that was being driven by a 36-year-old man.
He had a bike with him but this wasn't involved in the crash.
He sustained serious, life-threatening head injuries and was flown to the University Hospital Coventry by air ambulance.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it happen or who may have seen the teenager on a red mountain bike before the collision.
