Armed Robbery At Supermarket

Armed robbers escaped with a large amount of cash after they tied up staff at a supermarket in Welwyn Garden City.
The masked men threatened workers at Somerfield in Woodhall, Cole Green Lane with a gun at 6am yesterday/Tues.
The robbers are believed to be two black men wearing all black clothing. They had London accents.
Investigating officer DCI Trevor Rodenhurst said: "The members of staff were understandably shaken but thankfully were not harmed as a result of this incident.
"We are following a number of lines of enquiry into this crime and I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident take place, or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity before the robbery, to get in contact with police.
"Maybe you recognise the description. Any information you provide, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help us to solve this crime."
