Easter Fun For Daventry Kids

Daventry District Council has organised a cricket and football camp to help keep youngsters occupied over the Easter holiday.
The camps will give children between the age of 8 and 16 the chance to hone their football and cricket skills in a fun and safe environment.
The cricket camp is being held at Daventry Sports Park in Browns Road everyday from Monday, April 11, to Friday, April 15, from 10am to 3pm, and is being delivered by Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and their ECB qualified coaches. A football camp has been organised for the second week of the Easter holiday from Monday, April 18, to Thursday, April 21, from 10am to 3pm, also at Daventry Sports Park in Browns Road, and is being delivered by FA qualified coaches from Northampton Town FC.

Daventry District Council will also be holding various play sessions throughout the holiday as follows:-
- A Treasure Hunt will be held at Crackshill in Crick from 11am on Monday, April 11, and at Boughton Pocket Park on Tuesday, April 12, from 11am. Prizes will be given to the winner and there will be a fun quiz.
- Arts and Crafts sessions will be held on Thursday, April 14, at East Haddon Pavilion, from 10am to 11.30am and Spratton Village Hall, from 12.30pm to 2pm. On Friday, April 15, they will be at Weedon Village Hall, from 10am to 11.30am, and Flore Millennium Hall, from 12.30pm to 2pm.
- The Arts and Crafts sessions will also be held at Brixworth Library on Tuesday, April 19 from 11am to 1pm; Long Buckby Library on Wednesday, April 20, from 11am to 1pm; and Moulton Library on Thursday, April 21, from 1pm to 3pm, and all these places must be booked.
