A 28 year-old man has been left with a broken arm and suspected fracture to his eye socket after being assaulted twice during a night out in Dunstable town centre.

On Sunday morning (July 20th) he was assaulted in the Sugar Loaf Public House then, between 3.30am and 3.45am in the car park of the Asda Store on Court Drive, two men and one woman assaulted the victim, injuring his arm and eye socket.

Detective Constable Helen Howson is keen to trace anyone who witnessed the assault in the car park or anyone who witnessed another assault against the same victim earlier in the night at the pub.

DC Howson said: "We know that the victim was also assaulted in the pub earlier that night and as he made his way home he was assaulted again, this time suffering serious injuries. It is possible that both offences were committed by the same people and I would urge anyone who witnessed either of these incidents to contact the police and help trace those responsible."

Police say if anyone can help - call Luton Police Station 01582 394059, or Bedfordshire Police on 101 - or even text information to 07786 200011 (alternatively you can call anonymously - Crimestoppers - on 0800 555 111).
