Investigation Begins After Man Dies In Northampton

A man has died after being wounded in Northampton.

Officers were called to Barrack Road, close to the Lazeez restaurant shortly before 5.30pm this evening.

Paramedics transferred the victim to Northampton General Hospital where he sadly died of his injuries just before 6.25pm.

Det Insp Ali Reynolds, of Northamptonshire Police, said: “We are urgently appealing for witnesses and are especially keen to know of the victim's movements in the hours leading up to his death.
