Man Charged With Murdering His Wife In Hatfield

A man is due in court today charged with murdering his wife whose body was found in Hatfield.
31-year-old Madina Landsberg was found dead at an address in Filbert Close on Tuesday 10 June in the evening at around 8:30pm by police, who were called by the ambulance service.
The case has been referred to the Independent Polices Complaints Commissioner, as police had prior contact with Mrs Landsberg.
A spokesman said: "The case has been referred as a matter of course to the Independent Police Complaints Commission following prior police contact with the victim.''
Ian Grout, Neighbourhood Inspector for Welwyn Hatfield, sought to reassure the wider community that there was no cause for concern.
He said: "I understand that this incident may cause concern to residents in Hatfield, particularly given other serious incidents in the town in recent months. Each of these incidents is isolated and not connected in any way.''
Mr Landsberg, who's 33 and of no fixed address is due to appear before Hatfield Remand Court.
