Northants Woman Charged With Infant Murder

A 32 year-old woman from South Northamptonshire has been charged with murder following the death of a baby earlier this year.

A 4 month-old baby was admitted to Milton Keynes Hospital on Saturday, 29 March.

The infant was later transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he sadly died on Monday, 31 March, as a result of head injuries.

The woman has been due to appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court this afternoon (Tuesday, 18 November).

UPDATE 3pm Wednesday 19th

At Leicester Crown Court today, an application for bail has been made, and granted.

A date for when the woman is due back in court will be released in due course.
