A man has been caught on camera unsuccessfully trying to break-into a house in a market town near Kettering.
The man, who is believed to be aged between 20 and 26, was caught by CCTV cameras repeatedly trying to break into a house in Gordon Street in Rothwell.
It happened at 5:50am on Wednesday the 20th of August.
Officers investigating the attempted burglary have now released the footage, which shows the man walking into the garden of the house and attempt to break into both a car, a garage and the main house before trying to force open the kitchen window with a screwdriver.
Despite his repeated attempts to get into the property, the man left empty-handed.
He was wearing a blue checked jacket with a hood, blue jeans and white trainers.
He was also carrying a black JD sports bag. He had short, sandy-coloured hair and was slim.
