A woman, in her twenties, who got into difficulty in a lake in Milton Keynes has died in hospital.
She was rescued from the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley at around 5:25pm last Wednesday (30 July), and was airlifted to the John Radclife Hospital with life threatening conditions.
It has now been confirmed that she died in hospital two days later, on Friday.
The week before the body of 61 year old Paul Allsop was recovered from the same lake after he died trying to retrieve a ball.
Two teenagers also died in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire that week while swimming in open waters.
