Woman In Serious Condition After Struggling In Milton Keynes Lake

A woman has been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty in a lake in Milton Keynes.

Emergency services were called to the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley at around 5:25pm yesterday evening (30 July).

The woman, thought to be in her early twenties, was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Last Friday the body of another man was recovered from the same lake after he died trying to retrieve a ball.

The day before two teenagers died in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire while swimming in open waters.
