Ashford Man Dies in Crash

A man from Ashford's died in a crash on the A2070.

Police want to know if anyone saw the crash, which happened on the A2070 at Snave at 08.25hrs.

A white DAF rigid goods lorry travelling towards Ashford was in collision with a green Renault Scenic travelling towards Brenzett.

The driver of the Renault, an Ashford man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family's been told.

The driver of the lorry, a 49 year-old man from Dartford, was taken to the William Harvey hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
