Folkestone: Three Arrested After Man Stabbed

Three men have been arrested by murder squad detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old in Folkestone.

The victim, a man from London, was found with knife wounds in the Dover Road area of Folkestone, between 7pm and 7.30pm yesterday.

Ambulance staff treated the unnamed man in Wood Avenue and he was admitted to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Three men from London - aged 20, 19 and 18 - are in custody facing questioning over the stabbing, Kent Police said.

A spokesman said: "Officers are carrying out inquiries in Dover Road which is currently cordoned off between the railway arches at Southern Way and Charlotte Street for essential forensic examination work.''
