Friends Post Support For Family Of Missing Man

Friends have been posting messages of support for the family of missing man Pat Lamb after police told them a body had been found in the River Medway.

Kent Police say they are waiting for the body to be formally identified before they release a name.

A member of the public found the body at Caxton Marina near Rochester Saturday afternoon.

One of the posts on the Help Find Patrick Lamb Facebook page says of his family "your courage and determination was inspirational". Another reads: "Be proud you did everything you could to bring him home."

Mr Lamb, 28, and from Greenhithe, disappeared on a night out with friends in Maidstone two weeks before Christmas.

Kent Police have posted a statement on their website. "Kent Police was called at 3.31pm on Saturday 10 January following reports of a body of a man found in the River Medway at Cuxton Marina.

"Formal identification is yet to take place but the family and girlfriend of missing man Patrick Lamb have been informed and will be kept fully updated."
