Gillingham Car Wash Shooting

A man has appeared in court, charged with affray and making threats to kill following a shooting at a carwash in Gillingham.

Adam Green of Hards Town in Chatham, who was arrested early Tuesday morning, has been remanded in custody and is due back before magistrates later this month.

Another man is also now being questioned about the incident, after handing himself in to officers.

It brings the number of people arrested to five - three others were released on bail at the weekend over the alleged business dispute that it is believed to have led to the shooting.

Two men, aged 27 and 34, received serious injuries during the incident but have since been discharged from hospital.
