Mark Stimson leaves Gillingham following the club's relegation at the weekend.
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has left the club by mutual consent.
The Gills were relegated from Coca-Cola League One on Saturday after their 3-0 defeat at Wycombe to return to League Two after just one season.
And, despite Stimson insisting he would not be leaving after the Wanderers game, the two parties have agreed to terminate the 42-year-old`s contract with immediate effect.
The football club's website says "A statement will be released by the chairman shortly".
