A series of accidents caused massive delays and problems on the M20 and one man's died.
Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a man died.
A silver Honda CBR motorbike and a car, a blue Jaguar 'S' Type were involved in the crash which happened just after 5.30am on the coastbound carriageway just after Junction 5.
The motorcyclist died.
The road was closed while officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigated.
After this, three vehicles were involved in a collision near Junction 4 coastbound at 8am.
Kent Police and the Air Ambulance attended.
One woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but not thought to be life threatening.
A Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Escort were recovered.
Kent Police also helped a driver who crashed into the barrier at 8.10am near Junction 4 coastbound.
After hours of delays, diversions and closures - the road reopened fully just before 1pm.
