Appeal for Witnesses after Fatal RTC
Police want to hear from any witnesses after a fatal crash that closed the M2 for 6 hours
A motorcyclist has died after a crash on the M2.
It happened londonbound between Junctions 6 and 5 at 9.15am Sunday 12th September.
The accident involved a single moped with a rider and pillion passenger. The male rider was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by air ambulance but later died.
The female passenger was also taken to hospital - but the injuries are not thought to be serious.
The family of the man who died have been informed and the coroner's office notified. No further details of the deceased are available at this time.
