Prison for Sex Offender

Peter Dorbin from Coulsdon Road in Surrey, who also had a caravan on the Isle of Sheppey admitted to 21 counts of possessing indecent images of children and one count of assaulting a child.

He is expected to serve around half of his sentence in prison having aleady spent time in custody.

Dorbin owned a caravan on the Holly Bush campsite in Minster on Sea, Isle of Sheppey which is where the offence against a child took place. The victim was aged just 8 years of age at the time.

Kent Police's Digital Forensics Unit examined computer equipment seized from his home in Surrey and found evidence of indecent images and movies of children. These were categorised at levels 1-4.

On release from prison, he will have to sign the Sex Offenders Register and will not be allowed to work with children either in a paid or voluntary position. He will also be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for a minimum of a five-year period.
