Five people will appear in court today charged with murder after a man's body was found on the beach on the Isle of Sheppey.
Gary Pocock, 34, was discovered just before 6am on August 7, when officers were called to Warden Bay Road, Leysdown, between Little Groves caravan site and the Isle of Sheppey Holiday Village.
He was naked from the waist down and had suffered head injuries.
The five people who have been charged are Christopher James Bones, 20, from Dagenham, Jamie West, 19, from Warden on the Isle of Sheppey, Matthew Terry, 20 and Mark Terry, 44, both from Ilford in London, and a 15-year-old, also from Warden on the Isle of Sheppey, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
All will appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court in Chatham today.
