Snow To Hit Kent
The MET office has issued another severe weather warning for Kent. It is predicting the whole of the county will get snow today, with the west of Kent getting the most.
Forecasters say in some areas as much as 10cm could settle.
Gritting trucks were out last night and are continuing to prepare roads through today. Snow ploughs are also being fitted so they will be able to help clear any build up of snow and keeps routes around the county running.
Farmers with ploughs have been put on standby to help if needed too.
Southeastern trains is warning there may be disruption on some routes through the day. It is advising passengers to check live travel information before making their journey today, and to allow extra time for it. The company is also putting on extra staff at stations to clear any snow or icy surfaces from platforms and stairs.
Southern is running an amended timetable and is advising you to check before you travel. Eurostar is running with speed restrictions and delays due to weather conditions in France.
