Tributes to Crash Victim

The family of a young man from Chatham who died in a crash in Rochester have paid tribute to a much-loved son, brother and husband.

25 year old Luke Michael was riding his motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a car on Lake road last Thursday.

Luke's wife Nicola said: "Luke lived life to the full and crammed a lot into his 25 years, living it the way he wanted, defying convention but leaving us with lots of good memories."

His parents, Jeff and Barb would like to thank everyone who attended to Luke on the day of the accident and for being there when his parents were not able to.

They said: "It is a cliché, but he was a wonderful son to us, brother to Dan and Helen and husband to Nicola – he really does leave a huge hole in all our lives.’

They wish to pass a message to other bikers, ‘If we can save just one bikers life through this tragic and untimely passing, then Luke will not pass in vain.’
