29th April 2011 at Margate Winter Gardens is the date that Olly Murs has been waiting for ever since he ended the last series of X Factor. It is the first concert on his very own headline tour of the UK.
Olly is no stranger to singing in front of large audiences and he enjoyed every minute of being on the road with his fellow X Factor contestants in the tour that followed the popular TV show, but as he says “being out there on stage, with your own show, knowing that all the people out front have come just to see you perform has got to be the biggest thrill of all for any artiste”
“I’ve heard the crowd really get into it with you at Margate, so to start off there will be a great confidence booster and set me up for the rest of the tour”
His first release the single "Please Don't Let Me Go", came out on 29 August 2010 and went straight to the top spot. His debut album is scheduled for 29 November 2010 .
Pre X-Factor Olly had famously appeared on TV Quiz show Deal or No Deal and swapped his £1,000 box for one with £10, certainly looks like his luck has changed - 2011 is promising to be a very good year for him and an enjoyable one for his fans.
