2 Killed In House Fire

Two women have died in a house fire in south east London.

35 firefighters and 6 engines were called to Purrett Road in Plumstead shortly after midnight on Monday and took two hours to bring the fire under control.

Three women and two men managed to escape and were taken to hospital.

Police and fire officers are investigating.
