2012 torch relay route confirmed

The full route of the Olympic torch relay has been revealed. It arrives in London on the 64th day of its journey, July 21st.

More than 8000 people will carry the Olympic flame through 1000 cities, towns and villages.

In London it'll pass the Greenwich Observatory and the All England Club at Wimbledon before it arrives in Stratford on July 27th.

Elsewhere the flame will travel on a chair lift at the Needles on the Isle of Wight and will be rowed down the Thames at Henley.
