5th Anniversary Of 7/7

Some of the families of those who died in the July 7th attacks have expressed anger that no official event has been organised on the fifth anniversary of the bombings.

Neither the Mayor, Boris Johnson, nor the Prime Minister, David Cameron, attended a minutes' silence at the permanent memorial in Hyde Park earlier.

The Deputy Mayor for policing, Kit Malthouse, told Heart the government respected the wishes of families not to have a large ceremony this year.
