Alexandra Burke helps the cats and dogs

Alexandra Burke's due to mark the 150th anniversary of the world famous Battersea Dogs and Cats Home later.

There's a big gala ball tonight at Battersea Power Station.

The centre which was set up in 1860 has never turned away a dog or a cat in need of help.
