Baby Left On Bus In Tottenham

A baby in care who was left on a bus in Tottenham will be placed with another family, according to Harringey Council.

They say the toddler was found safe and well last Friday (March 1st March) after being left unattended. A full investigation is now underway.

A Haringey Council spokesperson said:

"The welfare and protection of all children in care is our number one priority. An incident took place last week where a carer left a child unattended. The child was found safe and well and we are undertaking a full investigation."

"As soon as this incident came to light, steps were immediately taken to arrange a new fostering placement for the child."
