Hundreds of people working on London's cycle hire scheme are to be given a £500 bonus for working during the Olympics.

They will also get better overtime payments because of the extra work they'll be doing during the Games.

It comes as bus workers who want an Olympic bonus as well have staged protests outside a number of depots in London this morning.

Thousands of workers went on strike on Friday over their claim for a £500 bonus and are threatening further industrial action.

Several depots were affected by today's demonstrations, including Waterloo, Holloway Road and Tottenham.
