Boy Dies In Collision In Thamesmead

A six year old boy has died after he was hit by a car in south east London.

The boy had been walking with his mother and other family members on St John Fisher Road, in Thamesmead at around 6:15pm yesterday (Thursday July 24) when the collision happened.

The child was taken to hospital, where he died.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene but no arrests have been made.

Next of kin have been informed.
