The M25 was shut both ways earlier after an accident involving 2 lorries.
The crash happened early Friday morning between junctions 27 and 28 in Essex.
A lorry carrying vodka collided with another lorry and caught fire.
One driver, who was in his 50s, was killed. The second driver suffered minor injuries.
There were long delays through the morning. The anti-clockwise section reopened at 6am, but the clockwise carriage was closed all morning.
