2 thousand Met police officers have carried out raids across London targeting suspected drug dealers, cannabis farms and crack houses.

It's part of Operation Hawk, which is calling on Londoners to tell police about criminals in their area.

The day of action will see different activities ranging from raids and testing for drugs on surfaces at pubs and clubs to visits to pharmacies to check for any under the counter prescribing and drugs dogs positioned at transport hubs.

So far there have been 259 arrests, and 281 warrants executed. During these raids, 27 cannabis factories have been closed and 2485 cannabis plants have been seized.
