In the last year more than 800 gang members in London have been jailed and another 100 have been given ASBOs and court orders.

Scotland Yard says since the Trident Gang Crime Command was launched last February,the number of stabbings has dropped by more than a quarter, and shootings by nearly a fifth.

Over the last year the number of gang members in custody or subject to legal restrictions or licence restrictions has more than doubled.

There have been 1,871 fewer victims of serious youth violence, which has been reduced by 28% over the last financial year.
