Heron Tower

The new tallest building in the city of London has had the final piece of it's structure put in place.

At two-hundred-and-thirty-metres The Heron Tower is almost fifty metres higher than Tower 42 which had been the tallest structure since it was built in 1980.

And it's second highest in London after Canary Wharf.

It's hoped the building will be completely fitted out by next March.

There'll be a public restaurant on levels 38, 39 and 40 with open terraces and views over London.
