London's Rail Takeover?

Boris Johnson says train passengers can expect cheaper fares - if he gets control over London's rail network.

Boris Johnson's asking the Government to put Transport for London in charge of the rail franchises that serve our city.

The London Mayor claims it would mean more frequent trains and better lit stations - as well as lower fares.

He also says it would save millions of pounds of savings that could be used to provide more reliable and frequent services.
