Man Charged With Turnpike Lane Murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a man who was shot dead almost two years ago.

Ali Armagan, 32, was killed at close range as he sat in his car near Turnpike Lane in February 2012.

Met Police have charged 27-year-old Omer Murat, of no fixed abode, with murder.

He was arrested at St Pancras Station after returning on a train from France.

Three men have already been sentenced after they pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with the murder of Mr Armagan.
