Man Dies Following Police Restraint

A man who has been in hospital since being restrained by Met police in Islington 2 months ago, has died.

The police watchdog has confirmed Darren Neville died on Sunday at the Royal London Hospital.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission had already been investigating the incident in Aberdeen Park.

Police officers were called to the Park in Islington on Tuesday 12th March to investigate a disturbance.

28 year old Darren Neville was restrained during that time, taken to hospital, and has now died.
