Man Stabbed To Death In Clapton

Detectives are investigating a murder in Clapton.

Police were called at 21.10 on Saturday 4 May to a flat in Lea View House, Jessam Avenue E5 to reports of an injured man.

London Ambulance Service and Police attended to find a man suffering from stab wounds.

The 30 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed but we await formal identification.

A post mortem will be arranged in due course.

At 19.00 a 29 year old man attended an east London hospital suffering from stab wounds. He is in a non life threatening condition in hospital.

He has also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 45 year old man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.

A 21 year old man is also being questioned.

An incident room has opened under Det Ch Insp Neale Bladock.

Detectives are aware that an argument took place outside the address at approx 4pm between three men.
