Man's Body Discovered After Croydon Fire

A man has died after a house fire in south London.

Firefighters were called to a blaze in Addiscombe Court in Croydon, Saturday morning.

The fire damaged part of the ground floor of the terraced house and crews found the body of a man in a rear bedroom on the ground floor.

The London Fire Brigade was called at 11.35am and the fire was under control within 25 minutes.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
