The Mayor says having mobile phone coverage on the tube isn't a priority for Londoners after confirming plans for it have been shelved.
Technical difficulties mean it won't be done before the Olympics, but Wifi will still be installed at 120 stations.
It comes as we hear that Northern Line trains won't stop at Tottenham Court Road station for the next 8 months as the 500 million pound upgrade work continues.
From April 2nd the platforms there will shut and won't open again until late November.
Transport for London say Central Line services will still use the station and the Northern Line platforms will be ready again in time for Christmas.
