London's on course to get a cable car and it's first ever cruise liner terminal in time for the Olympics.

The planned cable car would connect Greenwich and the Royal Docks, cutting journey times between the O2 and ExCel which are both Olympic sites.

It got the go ahead from Greenwich council last night and now it's up to the Greater London Authority to decide.

Council planners also gave the thumbs up for a cruise liner terminal at Enderby Wharf - developers are planning to build loads of new homes and a hotel as well.
