Talks are under way with companies to try to find private funding to bring back the Olympic Stadium's giant fabric wrap.
Plans for the 900 metre long curtain, designed to display moving images and help minimise crosswinds, were dropped as part of last year's Government spending review.
The Olympics Minister Hugh Robertson says a tendering process has identified interest in the wrap.
