Pregnant Woman Dies

Police are treating as suspicious the death of a 30 year old pregnant woman who's thought to have fallen from flats in north-west London.

It's believed she fell from the third floor of a building in West Kilburn.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Orpheus House on the Harrow Road just after 3am on Sunday 23 February 2014.

The 30 year old woman, who was pregnant, was pronounced dead at the scene a few minutes later.
 
Detective Inspector Colette Smyth, Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: “Even in the early hours of Sunday, Harrow Road, W10 was busy with traffic and people walking around.

"I am specifically appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the woman fall from Orpheus House or anyone who was area just after 03:00hrs and witnessed this tragic incident to contact the police."

A man was arrested at the scene in connection with the investigation and was subsequently released on bail to return to police on 23 April 2014.
