Private midwives struggle with demand

London's Heart has found private midwives are struggling to cope with demand as many mums-to-be say they're scared to use the NHS.

It can cost up to £6000 for an independent midwive with some saying they're turning away three to four women a week.

The government says it is spending more cash to fund more midwives.
