Protestors on the pavement around Parliament Square are being told to go home or face legal action.

Westminster Council has sent thirty people legal letters telling them to leave by five o'clock on Friday evening.

Otherwise the authority says it will go to the High Court to get an injunction forcing them to stop obstructing the pavement.

Demonstrators were evicted from the square itself last July.
