A wealthy Russian banker remains "critical but stable" under armed guard in a London hospital after being shot in a suspected assassination attempt.

German Gorbuntsov is in a coma after being shot as he entered his home in Canary Wharf on Tuesday.

Scotland Yard are refusing to comment on reports he's a witness to an attempted assasination on another banker in Moscow.
