Holidaymakers are waiting to see if their travel plans will be ruined by strike action at Heathrow and Stansted airports.

BAA workers with the Unite union have voted in favour of walkouts in a row over pay.

No dates have yet been set and the conciliation service ACAS says it will try and help negotiate a settlement.

It could affect hundreds of thousands of holidaymakers travelling not only from London but from Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
