4th Man Arrested Over Tottenham Death

Officers investigating the murder of a man in South Tottenham have arrested a fourth man.

Officers executed a search warrant at a residential address in Tottenhamin the early hours of Monday 11th March and arrested a man [D] in his 20's on suspicion of murder. He is currency in custody at a north London police station.

Police were called shortly before 05:00hrs on Sunday, 10 March, to reports of a fight in Stamford Close, Tottenham N15.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. Five men were found at the scene suffering various injuries.

One, 20-year-old man believed suffering stab wounds, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at hospital. He was Ibrahim Ali 20 (1.1.93) of Tottenham. Next of kin have been informed.

Two other men [A] - one aged 21 [victim 2] the other [B] aged 20 [victim 3] - were taken to separate hospitals. Their injuries were described as minor and both were later discharged.

Both were arrested in connection with the incident and were taken to separate north London police stations when discharged from hospital.

[A] remains in custody at a North London police station. [B] has been bailed pending further enquires.

A further two men - one aged 25 [victim 4] the other 33 [victim 5] - had suffered minor injuries and made their own way to separate hospitals. Both have since been discharged. They were not arrested.

Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.

A post mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

An open mind is being kept as regards a motive and enquiries into the circumstances of the murder are ongoing.
